Buck Converters

Buck Converters are incredibly useful in the smart home. A buck converter simply lets you input one DC voltage and output another, usually controllable via a potentiometer. A common use for this device for me, is to step down the 24 volts in my solar battery bank, down to the 12 or 5 volts needed for set of LED’s.
