Milfra Light Switches
I just purchased a pair of Milfra switches from Amazon for $26.
I purchased these as replacements for the dumb switches I had by my entry way. While I already have many sonoff wall switches throughout the house with a few martin and Jerry ones as well. While I love the glass panels of the sonoff switches, for the front I had a two gang box with naturally two switches. Sonoff offers a two relay switch but in a one gang setup, and their one gang switches wouldn’t work as they utilize an integrated face plate. My second option was to add in another Martin and Jerry which are fabulous switches however a tad pricey, hence I decided to shop around on Amazon for a cheaper alternative which still allowed me to convert it to tasmota.
Enter the Milfra double gang switch pack. As you can see from the image they made it super easy to tasmotize offering neatly labeled pinouts in a nice easy to handle straight line, meaning no need to solder on jumpers. The switches themselves certainly do not feel as well made as the Martin and Jerry’s, but are also not terribly cheap feeling either.
Once I opened the package and pulled out a switch, I immediately remove the four screws holding the back cover on, and was met with another great feature of these switches. That was it, that was all the disassembly required. Once the back cover is removed the circuit board is sitting right there just waiting to be flashed. Flashing as expecting went painlessly, I then finished the tasmota install (setting up the wifi), and used the following template to get them working properly.

The installation into the wall was also very simple, as you can see from the photo they were kind enough to solder the 110v wires onto the PCB for you, so there is no messing around with tiny set screws, just a couple wire nuts and your off to the races. Overall a project I was very happy with and will definitely be ordering more of these switches
