Sonoff Motion Sensor

The sonoff zigbee motion sensor, is a new offering from sonoff to their equally new line of zigbee products.

This motion sensor is just that a motion sensor and not much else. The syncing process to my tasmotized sonoff zigbee bridge was flawless. The delay from time of actual motion to when it is registered quite low. Honestly, my only complaint with the product is the battery replacement procedure, which requires prying the back off the unit. This is fine during initial setup, however may very well become an issue once the sensor is mounted.

Beyond the obvious design flaw, however, this motion sensor seems to have one main thing going for it, and it’s a big one, it just works.  It’s not fancy, it’s not pretty, but it pairs flawlessly, doesn’t drop off my zigbee hub, doesn’t have crazy latency, in short it just works.
